Meet Seth

Your ADHD Nurse Coach.

Seth Rotman was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid in the early 1990s, when there were few resources and even less understanding. He had parents who fought for him and a school built for students who learned differently. He knows firsthand that the right support makes all the difference.

Today, Seth is a registered nurse, a Board Certified Nurse Coach (NC-BC), and an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). He’s also the author of There Is No Box! Going From Failing To Thriving With ADHD.

He founded Clarify Wellness to work with high-performing professionals who are newly diagnosed or who see themselves in ADHD’s symptoms. They’re good at their jobs. They’re also worn out from the invisible battle it takes to hold it all together.

His 8DHD Method draws on more than 11 years of clinical nursing, evidence-based coaching tools, and over 20 years of mindfulness and martial arts. Clients learn how their brains work, build systems that fit them, and get the accountability to keep going when life gets messy.

Testimonials

  • Seth Rotman is one of those rare professionals who truly stands apart. He combines a wide and powerful range of skills with the wisdom and perspective he gained from his years of training and practice as a nurse.                                                                                          That background gives him a depth of insight and a level of compassion that is uncommon—and it shows up in every interaction. What makes Seth exceptional is the way he translates all of that into coaching that is both targeted and deeply personal. He listens closely, understands where someone is coming from, and then helps them chart a                                                                                                path toward better outcomes—whether that means greater balance, improved alignment, stronger health, or simply more clarity in life and work. His style is warm, thoughtful, and encouraging, yet always grounded in real expertise. If you are searching for meaningful support that combines empathy, wisdom, and results, look no further. Seth is the partner you want by your side.

  • I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 40s. I wanted to figure out how to overcome some of the difficulties and harness some of the strengths. I had an introductory call with Seth and quickly believed he could help me.   Working with Seth was great. He is knowledgeable about ADHD both from a clinical standpoint as well as from his personal experience. He was able to take his 30 year learning curve and help me get a handle on things in just a few months.   I'd recommend working with Seth to anyone struggling with the negative aspects of ADHD in their personal and/or professional lives.

  • Seth challenged me to thinking deeper about specific issues and provided great resources/exercises. He consistently reinforced the importance of accountability and how this is essential for any amount of self growth to take place. I now have a new set of healthy coping strategies that I regularly use.

  • Working with Seth has unlocked various aspects and perspectives about the ebbs and flows of life. I have taken time to ask myself uncomfortable questions as to why I do things the way I do and what I can do to get better and more effective as I address goals. Since starting my coaching program I have learned the following: It’s okay to celebrate my achievements and efforts. I value myself more when it comes to my professional growth over the years. I should never be okay “coasting” or simply “being comfortable.” Challenging myself has always gotten me better results.

  • Working with Seth was an interesting, yet enlightening experience. The focus of my career has always been mostly for physical growth of another individual, and did not take time to think of ways I could influence my personal growth, both physically and mentally. Seth helped me acknowledge that in a way that you were heard and seen. He helped direct the narrative but helped me gain knowledge to overcome various barriers in all aspects of my life. I greatly appreciate the time he emotionally invested in me and my growth.

  • Seth asked some hard questions that helped me dig deeper into thoughts and feelings I was already working through; he helped illuminate a new perspective for me which I really appreciated.   I loved how he interspersed a bit of education throughout our session and I learnt a few new things in our time together. I would recommend Seth's coaching to anyone willing to be pushed into exploring themselves deeper.

  • In my time working with Seth, my wellbeing has greatly improved due to the strong support and guidance I received from him. Prior to working with Seth, I felt overwhelmed with the changes I wanted to make in my life and although I knew I wanted to prioritize my health, I needed the accountability, coaching, and structure that Seth provided to truly implement these changes.

One of the qualities I value most about Seth’s coaching style is his ability to ask questions that helped me uncover some of the roadblocks and barriers to the changes I wanted to implement. Seth’s thoughtful questions and observations allowed me to identify the unhealthy habits I developed over the years and the excuses I was making to justify these habits. He helped me develop better work life balance that provided me more time and flexibility to accomplish my goals including daily movement, weekly meal prep, developing a mindfulness practice and setting a sleep schedule. Seth was always encouraging and used mindfulness as the foundation of our work, reminding me to break my goals into smaller steps and to be gentle with myself as I worked to re-center my health and wellbeing.

In addition to Seth’s approach to coaching, I also appreciated his expertise as a medical professional. He was able to explain the science behind some of the habits that I wanted to change and that helped to motivate me to make daily changes toward my goals. Seth explained the value of developing a sleep schedule and mindfulness practice and the positive impact those habits can have on my nervous system and my daily mood and ability to process conflict and stress.

I would recommend Seth’s coaching to anyone who is seeking guidance and motivation to make changes in their life. Not only is he gracious and encouraging but he is an expert in all things wellness and was an incredible accountability partner in support of my health goals.

  • Nurse coaching with Seth was a fantastic decision. Before starting, I really struggled with a sense of direction and staying present. I was hesitant but curious to learn more about nurse coaching. I'm so glad I did.

Seth makes a welcoming environment right from the start. It was easy to discuss sensitive subjects and be honest. He was able to identify obstacles that I myself had not identified. Through discussing these, we collaborated on goals that I felt comfortable with and would help me take steps forward.

While my main focus on day one was just being more mindful, I accomplished so much more. Through coaching with Seth, I'm now getting better sleep, I've started a mediation practice to help with mindfulness, started balancing my diet and getting excited about meals rather than feeling food was a chore, learned how forgiveness and boundaries work together, and took ownership over my body and decisions. After my sessions I feel so confident in myself. I don't let others opinions bare so much weight on personal decisions and I trust myself more. I have been given some great tools to help me achieve the life I am after. I no longer feel lost. Instead I feel optimistic about having choice.

I highly recommend nurse coaching with Seth for anyone who truly wants to work on self and where you see your future.

  • Seth is an exceptionally transformative coach. In our first meeting, Seth created an environment of authenticity and vulnerability that made me feel immediately comfortable. After discussing our mutual challenges of neurodivergence, entrepreneurship, and mental health - I knew he was someone I could open up to about my struggles.

Seth encouraged me to confront difficult topics (something I deeply needed). Seth has been incredibly supportive, as I've shared my experiences. The insights and strategies Seth provided allowed me to implement positive changes in my constantly evolving entrepreneurial life. Seth’s approach is both compassionate and challenging, striking the perfect balance for anyone looking to manage ADHD and related stressors. He is an exceptional coach, and I cannot recommend him enough.
